1. General Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries ("we," "our," or "us") to clients ("you," "your").

1.2 We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through our website or other means.


2. Services Provided

2.1 We provide professional air conditioning installation, maintenance, repairs, and servicing for both residential and commercial clients.

2.2 All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline a job if we deem it unsafe or unfeasible.

2.3 Quotes provided are valid for 7 days and may be subject to change based on site inspections or changes to the requirements.


3. Pricing and Payments

3.1 All pricing is provided in AUD and includes GST unless otherwise stated.

3.2 A deposit may be required for certain services, with full payment due upon completion unless agreed otherwise.

3.3 Payments can be made via credit card or bank deposit. Late payments may incur additional fees.


4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4.2 We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or equipment availability.


5. Warranty Information

5.1 Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on all products and services provided by Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries. This warranty applies to:

  • Air Conditioning Unit Installation: Any installation, repair, or servicing provided by our technicians is covered under this warranty.
  • Refrigeration Systems: Includes any installations, repairs, or maintenance.
  • Labour: We offer warranty on labour for installation and repair services for up to 30 days from the date of service.

5.2 Warranty Period

  • Products: The warranty period for products (such as air conditioning units and refrigeration systems) will be specified by the manufacturer and passed along to the customer. Please refer to the warranty conditions specific to the unit or equipment you purchase.
  • Services: All services provided (such as installations, repairs, and maintenance) are covered under a warranty of 30 days from the date the service was completed.

5.3 What’s Covered

The warranty covers:

  • Repair or replacement of defective parts due to manufacturing or material defects.
  • Labour required to repair or replace faulty parts, provided that the defect is within the warranty period.

5.4 What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect, including improper maintenance or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Repairs resulting from external factors such as power surges, natural disasters, water damage, or vandalism.
  • Normal wear and tear, such as the gradual deterioration of components over time.
  • Issues caused by third-party modifications, repairs, or unauthorised installations.

5.5 Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to us with your warranty claim request.
  2. Provide Proof of Purchase: Provide your original purchase invoice, service receipt, or any relevant documentation to validate the warranty.
  3. Assessment: Our team will assess the issue and determine whether it qualifies for warranty coverage.
  4. Resolution: If the issue is covered, we will arrange for repair or replacement at no additional cost to you.

5.6 Exclusions and Limitations

  • Transferability: Warranty coverage is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Third-Party Products: For products not supplied or installed by us, the manufacturer’s warranty terms apply.
  • Remote Areas: For services provided in remote or hard-to-access areas, additional fees may apply.

5.7 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products or services covered under this warranty. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, downtime, or loss of data.


6. Maintenance Contracts

6.1 Maintenance contracts are subject to separate agreements outlining service schedules and inclusions.

6.2 Failure to adhere to scheduled maintenance may void warranties.


7. Privacy Policy

7.1 We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Your details will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.


8. Governing Law

8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Brisbane courts.
